Come out of that Restricted Area is an early audio-visual experiment with mashing up archival footage, and creating sample based music compositions from self-recorded foley.
The audio in this piece was completely created with samples that I recorded in my college dorm room with the exception of the first clip which is from the old radio show x-minus one. The visuals in this piece are all manipulated excerpts from public domain films, all of which can be found on The Internet Archive . The music and conceptual content for the piece was inspired by Steve Reich, Aphex Twin and Amon Tobin.
